What we do
Our team will visit your rental property and check if it meets all five Healthy Home standards, which cover:
Heating
Rental homes must have a heater installed that can keep the main living area at 18 degrees Celsius.
Insulation
Rental homes need to have insulation that meets the 2008 Building Code and is at least 120mm thick.
Ventilation
Rental properties must be capable of naturally ventilating with extractors in high-moisture areas.
Drainage and moisture
Rental properties must have an adequate system to drain stormwater, groundwater, and surface water.
Draught stopping
Rental homes must not have any unnecessary holes or gaps in the walls, ceiling, windows, and doors.
